The Traverse is equipped with a range of standard and available safety systems. On each Traverse, you will find the standard Rear Vision Camera. Using the touchscreen from the Infotainment system, you get a few of what's behind you when you shift into reverse. The dynamic guidelines on the screen can even help you with parking.
Features such as the available Lane Keep Assist can warn you when you drift out of a lane marker unintentionally. It will even provide some gentle steering correction to help you avoid a potential accident.
Other safety features like the available Automatic Emergency Braking will detect potential collisions at lower speeds. It will alert you, and in situations where you might not react fast enough, it will automatically apply emergency braking or improve braking power when you do press the brakes.
When it comes to technology inside the Traverse, its equipped with the Chevrolet Infotainment 3 System. This can be upgraded to an eight-inch color touchscreen and is compatible with Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay®.
Each row in the Traverse is also equipped with USB ports to help you and your passengers stay charged while out on the road. With the Infotainment 3 system, you can make hands-free calls, get directions, and even use some of your favorite apps hands-free as well.
